The North-South Lake Campground is the biggest state campground in the Catskill Forest Preserve and it is also the most popular due to its scenic beauty and history. The campground is situated north of the lakes and offers 219 tent and trailer sites that are spread over 7 loops. The sites are equipped with picnic tables and fire pits. The other campground amenities include flush toilets, showers, dump station, trails, and more. The sites are $22 per night and can be reserved online. Sites that are not reserved are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
